HSE Advisor

HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Kidderminster who are looking for a Health Safety and Environment Advisor.

Reporting into the Group Head of Compliance and into the site MD, you will form part of a wider team of 4. You will have full responsibility for a small high risk manufacturing site. That daily visible presence is essential to managing safety on site- you will have to stand your ground and push back but it’s a balance of knowing when this stance is needed. It will be a really varied role, always out on site, doing walk arounds, compliance checks, toolbox talks, working through actions on the system.

What we are looking for:

• Someone comfortable and happy out on the shop floor, visibility is essential
• Driven, self-motivated, good team player and work ethic – someone who cares
• Good communicator
• IT Savvy
• NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
• Environmental permitting and ISO systems experience would be advantageous.
• Manufacturing or some high risk, engineering related field would be advantageous but not necessary, attitude and fit is much more important
