Job Description
Technical Network has been retained by an major building products manufacturer to source an experienced Maintenance Manager. Responsible for one of their key production areas this role provides a brilliant opportunity for a resilient and driven individual to make their mark on a growing UK business.
Maintenance Manager
Salary to £48000 + benefits (day shift)
Location: Kidderminster
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maximising the operating efficiency of the production plant and equipment, managing a small team to ensuring breakdown and planned maintenance is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties:
o Lead and mentor a multiskilled maintenance engineering team working over two shift pattern
o Ensure regulatory and legislation compliance for HSE, COSHH, RAMS, Environmental, PUWER etc
o Prioritising preventative and corrective maintenance work orders within the CMMS.
o Manage and control maintenance engineering resources available in order to achieve required machine availability, regulatory plant and equipment safety standards.
o Manage, coach and mentor your team
o Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant.
Experience required
Applications are sought from experienced Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Managers who are keen to progress their career in a manufacturing facility comprising a wide variety of modern plant & equipment
o Time served mechanical or electrical apprentice, IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
o Proven ability to manage, lead, upskill and coach a technical team
o Set departmental objectives/ KPIs and review to drive continued performance
o Experienced and in-depth knowledge of planned maintenance, TPM, RCM and CMMS system
o Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance
o Experience of CNC machinery, material handling, PLC industrial controls
